Join us in person for “Complementary Curriculum: The Power of Intention” Workshop in Belmont, MA with Lisa Kuh and Iris Chin Ponte
Complementary Curriculum invites all children to learn. We address multiple approaches: Montessori, Reggio Emilia, play-based emergent curriculum, and strong content knowledge. This approach offers a new mindset for how we think about contemporary early education and maximize all children’s learning potential. Complementary Curriculum is not a series of defined lessons and prescribed activities; it is an understanding of multiple curricular approaches in effort to create rich learning experiences with the belief that all children can learn.
This hands-on workshop focuses on the 4 Intentions of Complementary Curriculum and participants will experience new ways to model routines, activities, and classroom material use. Learn to build trusting relationships through side-by-side coaching and learning support strategies that support self-regulation and independence.
